Technical characteristics of POM M90
(1)POM does not need to be dried before processing, but it is better to preheat (about 800℃) during processing, which is beneficial to the stability of product size. (The processing temperature of POM is very narrow (0 ~ 2 15℃). When it stays in the gun barrel for a long time or the temperature exceeds 220℃, it will decompose and produce strong irritating formaldehyde gas. (POM products have large shrinkage rate and are easy to shrink or deform. POM has high specific heat, high mold temperature (800 ~ 100℃), and the product is very hot when demoulding, so it is necessary to prevent scalding fingers. (5 4) POM should be molded under the conditions of "medium pressure, medium speed, low material temperature and high mold temperature". It is necessary to control the mold temperature when molding precision products. (6) It has high mechanical strength and rigidity. (7) It has the highest fatigue strength. (8) It has good environmental resistance and organic solvent resistance. (9) Strong repeated impact resistance, good electrical performance, good resilience, good self-lubricity, good wear resistance and excellent dimensional stability.
