What should I do if the nipple is a little invaginated?
Hello:

Nipple invagination means that the nipple is buried in the breast, which is called nipple invagination. Nipple invagination means that the whole nipple is hidden in the breast. The nipple may be flush with the breast or lower than the skin plane of the breast and areola, but the nipple direction is still forward or slightly inclined. The common cause of nipple inversion in adolescence is during breast development. Using a bra too early, some young women are afraid that their breasts will grow too big, so they use a bra that is too tight or a piece of cloth is too tight, which will affect the development of their breasts, and will also oppress the nipples that should protrude from their breasts and prevent them from developing normally. In addition, inflammation or injury occurs during breast development, and local tissue scar contracture after recovery will also cause nipple invagination. On the one hand, nipple invagination affects the beauty of female lines, and more importantly, it will affect the breastfeeding of children. If nipple invagination is serious, it will also lead to mastitis due to dirt or bacterial accumulation. So nipple invagination must be corrected in time. Commonly used methods are:

(1) Choosing the right bra size: Avoid and correct the bad practice of corset. Bras that are too small and too tight will oppress the chest and affect breathing. Because women mainly breathe in the chest, a tight bra is like tying a rope to the chest, which limits the breathing movement and avoids the further aggravation of nipple invagination.

(2) Pulling method: When finding the inverted nipple, gently pull the inverted nipple outward with your fingers every morning and evening. Gently massage the nipple with your thumb or forefinger, and pull it for 5- 10 minutes at a time.

(3) Extrusion method: use a smaller bra or cloth strip with the width of 10 cm to open a hole the size of a nipple, put on a bra or cloth strip to extrude the nipple outward, and persist for a period of time to make the invaginated nipple protrude. You can also buckle a walnut shell or porcelain wine glass on the nipple, put on a bra and press it for a while to make the nipple protrude.

(4) Negative pressure method: The thick end of the syringe or glass eye drop bottle can be buckled on the nipple, and the thin end is connected with a rubber tube and then connected with a large syringe. By forcibly pumping air, negative pressure is generated in the bottle, thus deeply compressing the tissues around the nipple and making the nipple protrude. After the bottle is put away, cooperate with traction and massage.

As long as the above methods persist in treatment for a period of time, the inverted nipple can remain in a prominent position. e
