Yajiaomu, also known as Liriodendron, is an evergreen tree or shrub. Duck feet can absorb nicotine and other harmful substances from smoky air, which is very suitable for indoor cultivation. Duck feet are basically cultivated with soil, but if they are cultivated indoors with glass bottled water, they can also get good results. So, do you know how to hydroponic duck feet? Here, Uncle Gardener introduces the hydroponic cultivation methods and matters needing attention.

First, the hydroponics method of Yajiaomu

1, water cuttage propagation: cut off 2-3 semi-lignified basal segments on the old plant, about 10 cm long, cut off the lower leaves, leaving only the upper 1-2 palmately compound leaves, immerse the lower 2/3 in glassware filled with clear water, and place it in a bright place indoors, and keep the temperature at 65438. In about 45 days, the roots above 6 cm will grow out and white root hairs will grow, so that normal management can be carried out.

2. Change soil culture into hydroponics: carefully remove the podophyllum cultivated in soil, clean the soil at the root of podophyllum, and plant it in a transparent glass bottle filled with clear water (tap water needs to be stored for 2-3 days). In the early stage of hydroponics, the water should be changed every 2 or 3 days, and the temperature should be kept above 1 5℃. A plant with green leaves and white roots in a bottle can be cultivated by giving proper illumination to the hydroponic podophyllum, which is elegant, clean, hygienic and very attractive.

Second, the hydroponic cultivation method of podophyllum

1. Water change: Water needs to be changed once a week, and some hydroponic plant nutrient solution should be supplemented every time, which can make hydroponic duck feet grow better. The water level should not be too high, so don't soak the trunk of Liriodendron chinense.

2. Temperature: The optimum temperature for rosewood growth is 15-25℃, and it can grow above 30℃. The overwintering temperature should not be lower than 5℃, otherwise the leaves of Liriodendron will fall off. Pay attention to ventilation at ordinary times

3. Illumination: The growth of podophyllum needs sufficient illumination, and sufficient sunlight can make the leaves of podophyllum bright. Duck feet are shade-tolerant, but they can also have dark green leaves in the shade. However, it is still necessary to dry duck feet regularly, but avoid exposure to the hot sun in summer.

4, pruning: Yajiaomu grows faster, pay attention to plastic pruning.

Third, matters needing attention

Cutting time is best to avoid high temperature in summer and low temperature in winter, and it can be used in both spring and autumn, and the temperature is controlled between 15-25 degrees.
