Thanks to the application of modern management science and technology in economic activities, Mid-Autumn University of Technology has occupied the first position of extra-budgetary income of all Russian technical universities since 2006, and was listed as the federal international investment consulting center (oil and gas) in 2008-2009. As a supplement to the state pension, Qiushi University has also implemented a non-state retirement security plan, as well as supplementary medical insurance and internal mortgage loans, which has enhanced the vitality and centripetal force of internal management.

Qiushi university students' after-school life is colorful and distinctive. Students spontaneously set up an "architectural engineering team", and the campus talent tour is "on the keyboard in spring", especially the "graduation ceremony" in the downtown square, which has become a part of urban culture. In 2008, a new activity was born on campus, and the annual "Star of Petroleum Wisdom" was selected to reward students who made innovations, inventions and put forward reasonable ideas in oil and gas technology and economic management. The school also regularly holds the selection activities of "Mr. Oil" and "Miss Oil".
