1, Chinese New Year custom
Putian has the custom of sweeping and patrolling during the Spring Festival. Every year from the 26th to 28th of the twelfth lunar month, every household will move all the furniture and utensils to be scrubbed outside, remove the dust, dry them in the sun, clean the indoor floor, walls and ceiling, and finally move the furniture home.
2. Eating habits
Putian has the saying that there are dumplings on the solstice in winter and noodles on the Dragon Boat Festival, so when the solstice in winter comes, every family will use the long night to make and eat dumplings, which is meaningful for reunion, and on the Dragon Boat Festival, they will eat a bowl of noodles.
