Cats are the most popular theme in China's traditional Chinese painting. What are the ways to draw cats in China's traditional Chinese painting? The following is the drawing method of Chinese painting cat that I brought to you. Welcome to reading.
1. Cat's head drawing
Cats have different faces. Short-haired cats have a slightly diamond face, while long-haired cats have a slightly square face. Among the five senses of a cat, the width of the eyes is one fifth of the width of the face. The line between the two corners of the eyes should be V-shaped, and should not be drawn flat. The intersection of the eyes is the nose, and under the nose is the middle seam of the mouth. The outer lines of the lips on both sides are in the middle of the eye width. The forehead line has the shape of "I", "Chuan" and "M", and the inner edge of the ear starts from the middle of the eye width. The side is oblique ellipse. Pay attention to turning your nose to your forehead when you draw, and don't draw your nose very long. The mouth is slightly longer than the bottom of the nose and drawn along the edge of the ellipse.
2. How to draw the eyes, nose, mouth and ears of a cat.
(1) Drawing of eyes and nose:
Cat's eyes are divided into round, oblique and almond shapes, and the colors are green, golden yellow, blue and bronze. Eyes are bright, and pupils will change with the intensity of light, so draw its light sense and texture. The distance between the eyes is equal to the distance between the inner corner and the outer corner. When painting, first tick off the outline of a diamond with dry light ink, and point out the eyeball with thick ink, leaving highlights, circles, black and bright, and the whites of the eyes can be dyed with pure cyanine or gamboge. The nose is pointed out by Zhu Qing.
(2) Mouth painting techniques:
Draw the left and right lips, lower lip and fibrous root points with a dry pen or light ochre, draw a thick beard, usually 35 hairs on each side, then dye the middle seam with rouge, and finally dye the fibrous root points and lips with light ochre.
(3) Ear painting:
After drawing the inverted eight-character ear with thick ink, outline the ear with dry ink, hook the ear hair, and finally dye the ear with light rouge.
3. The drawing of cat's tail
Draw the cat's tail with dry ink, and pay attention to the fluffy feeling and movement of the tail. Draw a cat's tail with different shades of ink to show the power of the tail.
4. The overall drawing of cats
(1) Visually measure the length of the inner and outer corners of the eyes, draw the outline of the eyes with light ink, find the same distance as the lower corner of the eyes, and draw the nose.
(2) Draw the lips and cheeks under the nose, that is, the middle seam of the mouth. Draw an eyeball with thick ink and wet it to determine its line of sight. The upper eyelid can be aggravated and thickened.
(3) Draw the upper edge of forehead and the outline of ear with light ink, then draw the inner edge of ear with thick ink, and write the forehead line and hairline at the same time.
(4) Tick off all parts of the body with dry and light ink.
(5) Adjust the ink color with a big sheep brush, and dot the car body with stripes.
(6) After drying, the mottled color can increase the ink color, and then the eyes (cat eyes are divided into blue and yellow) are dyed with light blue or ochre and gamboge. Finally, sew the nose and mouth with carmine and mend the beard.
