Rachel was the lead singer of Bumpus, a funk fusion music group in Chicago. During these six years, she has been writing, recording three band albums and touring all over the United States. 200 1 after writing several songs that were not in harmony with the band's style, Rachel decided to start her solo career with these songs. Singer's career
Rachel's first album, Encounter, was released in June 2004, which was well received by critics. The album was produced by JohnAlagia (David Matthew, john mayer and Ben volz). IWantYou invited members of the famous American music group TheKlezmatics to participate. Karen Mok's song is the cover of the album BeBeYourLove.
Her songs have been used in many TV series, including Charm of the Virgin Mary, Romance of Mom and Dad, Spring in Emergency Room, Spring of Plastic Surgery, MeninTrees, Double-faced Female Spy, Basketball Sky, Family Storm, Intern, Playboy Generation and so on. Among them, Rachel also made a guest appearance in the second season of Playboy Generation. Rachel also wrote songs for Mandy Moore's 2007 album Hope in the Wilderness, and served as a warm-up guest on many of Mandy's tours.
On May 22nd, 2008, official website provided a digital download of the new EP "Loose Ends", which contained three new songs as a preview of the delayed release of the second album.
On June 7th, 2008, 10, the second album "Do Your Best" was released. This album is more gloomy and sad than the last one. Tired was originally scheduled to be released in late summer of 2007.
On June 9th, 2008, 10, LiveDailySessions released live singing films of two songs, Faster and SundayAfternoon. [6]
On April 2nd, 2009, Capricorn Cafe sang the single Elephant in the fictional TV series OneLifeLive.
