After later die cutting, the workpiece is easy to deform and needs to be reshaped. Moreover, the die structure size is large, the cutter position is limited, the gap assembly is difficult to control, and the die cost is also high. In order to solve the above problems, in the process of12 "~15" steel wheel spoke trimming, the horizontal trimming die with internal expansion of inclined wedge is adopted, which can finish the spoke trimming task efficiently and with high quality.

As shown in fig. 2, the horizontal trimming die structure is installed on a 4000kN closed press for use. The lower template 17 is equipped with a fixed seat 12, and the fixed seat is equipped with a female die 1 1. Four screw holes are drilled in the center of the lower template and the adjusting pad 16, and the spokes are placed on the support plate 15 and the ejector pin 13 to facilitate the ejection and unloading of the spokes. The upper template is equipped with a wedge-shaped mandrel 5, and the movable cutter 7 is clamped between the guide support plate 3 and the pressure plate 14 by a limiting sleeve 6 and screws to ensure the flexible movement of the movable cutter. The clearance adjustment plate 23 and the reset screw 18 are also connected to the guide support plate by screws. When the guide support plate is elastically hung on the upper template by unloading screws 2 and rubber 8, a small guide post 9 and a small guide sleeve 10 are installed in the middle for guiding. To ensure that the moving knife and the inclined plane of the wedge spindle fit together at the same time, the upper and lower templates are guided by the guide post guide sleeve. It is necessary to ensure the alignment of the female die and the movable knife, so that the movable knife can contact the inner diameter of the spoke at the same time and cut off the waste edge.
