If you undergo myopia surgery after the college entrance examination, you can be admitted to the military academy.
If the naked visual acuity of each eye is less than 4.9 (0.8), students majoring in command, submarine, surface craft, tanks, surveying and mapping, and radar will be unqualified. The naked-eye distance visual acuity of each eye is above 4.8 (0.6), or the naked-eye visual acuity of one eye is above 4.7 (0.5) and the naked-eye visual acuity of the other eye is above 4.9 (0.8); or the naked-eye distance visual acuity of each eye is above 4.6 (0.4).
The corrected visual acuity of each eye is above 4.9 (0.8), and technical students are qualified. Relatively speaking, undergraduate or college graduates can relax appropriately, and the naked-eye distance visual acuity of each eye should be above 4.6 (0.4). Diseases of the eyelids, palpebral margins, conjunctiva, and tear apparatus that affect eye function are unqualified.

The introduction to myopia surgery is as follows:
The same is true for the other three military academies, the Naval Medical University, the Air Force Medical University, and the Army Medical University. Therefore, short-sighted candidates can apply for these military academies as long as their corrected visual acuity is above 4.8 in both eyes. Some majors in military academies have very strict vision requirements, requiring naked-eye vision to be no less than 4.9 or 5.0. In such majors, short-sighted candidates have no hope.
However, there are also many majors in military academies that do not have strict vision requirements. Generally speaking, non-command majors have lower vision requirements. A naked eye vision of not less than 0.3 is considered qualified. The requirements for command majors are higher, and the naked eye visual acuity is not less than 0.8 to be considered qualified.
