1. The survival rate of planting downhill piles is not very high, otherwise it would not be so expensive. Expand the excavation area as much as possible, protect the root system, reduce the damage, and timely bag and moisturize after excavation. At the same time, bringing more original soil back for planting can improve the survival rate.
Downhill piles can't be put directly in the basin, so it's better to plant them in the ground. If there are no conditions, you can also use large wooden boxes and pots for planting and maintenance. Matrix soil is the original soil brought back by river sand. Be careful not to mix or fertilize. After watering, it should be maintained in the shade. While keeping the branches moist, the pot soil should also be kept slightly dry, which is beneficial to the recovery and growth of the root system.
2. Maintenance after survival After the survival of the black pine, maintenance is much easier. In addition to proper shading in the early stage, it can also increase the light and maintain a good ventilation environment. Keeping the soil slightly dry can accelerate the growth and regenerate more roots. As long as the black pine down the mountain survives, its adaptability is still very strong, and it does not need too much careful maintenance and extensive management.
Usually, special attention should be paid to maintenance, especially fertilizers, which can't be flooded and don't need to be fertilized frequently, causing fertilizer damage and being difficult to preserve. As far as year-round maintenance is concerned, fertilization can be put before winter, and less fertilizer and water can be applied 1 or 2 times. Poor potted soil will dwarf black pine with dense branches and short leaves.
3. Pruning and modeling of black pine As mentioned earlier, black pine has poor healing ability and weak germination ability. Therefore, the pruning time of black pine is generally chosen in late autumn and early winter, when it has entered the dormant period, the liquid in the tree body flows slowly, and the cut after pruning will produce less fat. At this time, the temperature is also very suitable, which can effectively reduce the invasion probability of pests and diseases.
In modeling, because the branches of black pine are still relatively soft, they can be hung mainly by bending, and then carefully trimmed according to the attitude of the trees themselves. The germination ability of black pine is not strong. In its growing period, the core can be removed and drained properly, that is, in March-April, before needle production, the terminal bud is knocked out 1/3- 1/2, which can increase the crown density; Bud thinning is because black pine is a whorl bud, which can keep 3-4 buds in different directions, and removing the others can promote the growth of the main shoot.
I'm Juanzi, a girl from the "greenhouse". I briefly introduced the cultivation, maintenance and pruning of black pine, mainly aiming at the questions raised by friends, and shared the knowledge of black pine maintenance with you. Remember to pay attention and like it!
