Jasmine Yuanyang, also known as Jasmine Fan and Jasmine Changshan, is an evergreen shrub of Solanaceae and Jasmine Yuanyang. Its plant height is about 1 m, and potted plants often form small trees. Strong branching, round crown cluster, spiny young branches and gray stem bark. Simple leaves alternate, rectangular or oval, with acuminate apex, whole margin, short stalk, grass green, thin and dull leaves. The flower is solitary or consists of several cymes. The perianth is 5-lobed, shaped like a plum blossom, with a diameter of about 3 cm to 4 cm. It is bright and beautiful, first lavender, then light snow blue and then white. Because the order of flowers blooming on the same plant is different, it seems that two colors of flowers bloom at the same time, releasing a rich fragrance like jasmine, so it is named Yuanyang Jasmine. Calyx is tubular, with 4 stamens, and two pairs are born on the small hole in the center of corolla. The fruit is a berry with juicy flesh, but it often falls early. It blooms from winter to early spring of the following year, sometimes from New Year's Day to May Day.
