At the south end of Shanglin Lake in Cixi, there is a strange mountain with a high altitude, shaded by green trees, and waterfalls roar in the stream. That is Kaoluo Mountain (also known as Xianju Mountain). There is a poem to prove it: "the clear spring is around the stream, and the rocks are rugged; Legend has it that there are many gods and demons, and the light is cold and sand. "However, the origin of the name of this mountain is unknown. Literally, it's just a fragment. The name of the mountain is exquisite, and there are poems by predecessors. Tao is "embroidered into a spring garden, which attracts orioles to plant wicker." "There is a valley between the two peaks, and the bottom of the valley is a fast-flowing stream. Climb up along the winding stream between the two peaks. Because it is located at the mouth of the valley, the stream is very urgent, and the sound of running water can be heard from a distance. On the left side of Dashan Lane, there used to be a temple called Qin Long Courtyard, which was built in the period of Liang Datong, and now it has fallen down. On the right side of the mountain, there is a big round stone standing abruptly, called chessboard stone. According to legend, during the Three Kingdoms period, Nan and Beidou played chess here. While playing games, they observe the world and human feelings from the commanding heights, so that good and evil can have other retribution. On both sides of the stream, pine trees are lush. Whenever spring comes, it is a colorful scene, with flowers in full bloom, fragrant, butterflies flying and orioles dancing. Further down, there is a Pandora stone, which is said to be the place where the immortals of Shanglin Lake fish, so it is also called fishing stone. Not far from Shitou, there are two huge stones lying in the stream, named "Songgang Stone". It is said that the Eight Immortals roamed here to rest, and an eel escaped painfully, and later became a Huang Qishan with its head held high and its tail stuck in the middle of the lake. However, the whirlpool in the water was very urgent, so Tie Guai Li picked up a pole and lifted two big stones from the mountain to fill the hole. He drank water because he was thirsty. Stroking these two huge stones, it seems that you can still feel the tremor of the stones, and the legendary magic may be here!
