Generally, a heart-shaped or spindle-shaped tree with natural openings is adopted, the trunk is about 40 cm high, and the branching angle should be open, preferably 40 ~ 45.
(2) Pruning of young trees and early fruiting trees
Young peach trees in Chun Yan grow vigorously, with many developing branches, long branches and auxiliary branches. The first fruiting tree has fewer flower buds, higher fruiting parts and lower fruit setting rate. The task of pruning in this period is to enlarge the crown as soon as possible and promote its early fruiting and high yield. In the degree of pruning, it should be light rather than heavy. The extension branches of the main branches and side branches should be lightly cut and put long, so as to slow down the growth and avoid stimulating the branches to grow white. The degree of short cutting should be light, and other branches should not be cut slowly except for proper thinning outside the crown. It is necessary to adopt the method of supporting and pulling branches to open the angle of backbone branches. In the part with space in the crown, cultivate auxiliary branches and make full use of secondary branches and their achievements. After a large number of fruits are produced, the auxiliary branches are pruned first, and then the strong branches are removed, leaving the weak branches and cultivating them into fruiting branches.
During the period of young trees, summer pruning should be done well. When the extension length of the main branch reaches about 70 cm, the secondary branch should be used as the extension branch, so that the main branch can form the secondary branch within 1 year. In late May, it is necessary to remove clumps and competitive branches in time; According to its growth space, the rest should be wound or re-cored with the length of 15 cm to promote the occurrence of secondary branches. Generally speaking, the secondary branches in the crown should not be thinned, but when their growth length is about 30 cm and they are not lignified, they can be twisted to control their growth and promote the formation of flower buds.
(3) Pruning in full fruit stage
The main task of pruning in full fruit stage is to coordinate the contradiction between growth and fruiting and achieve high quality and high yield. There are mainly the above pruning measures:
(1) Inhibition of exogenesis promotes the peripheral growth of the inner crown, and often causes the fruit to move outward. When pruning, the main branch extension branch should be guided by weak branches and weak buds; Or cut off the mouth buds, leaving the side buds, and let the main branches bend and extend. Pay attention to keep the opening angle of the main branch. Large and medium-sized fruit branches with too high crown diameter, or branches with strong upper part and weak lower part, choose medium branches with large angle as pruning branches and prune them appropriately.
(2) Restrain the strong and help the weak, strengthen the main branches, increase the angle, leave more fruit branches and bear more fruits. Weak main branches should leave less fruits and more branches to enhance their growth.
(3) The top bud of the peach tree with broken branches is a leaf bud, which will grow easily if it is not cut, resulting in an "umbrella" on the tree. When pruning, the branches should be broken, leaving 1 strong fruit branches or branches every 20 cm.
(4) Update in time
This is an effective means to prevent the result site from moving out and maintain the ability of continuous results. The commonly used methods are single branch update, double branch update and three branch update.
