1. Psychological evaluation: The appearance of the patient's hand is abnormal, and older children may have certain psychological obstacles. Please consult the psychology department.
2. Social assessment: Assess the family economic status of patients, so as to choose effective and economical treatment methods.
(2) Surgical treatment
1. Operation time: general 18 months later. If fingers of different sizes are completely involved, whether it is simple or complex syndactyly, it is best to separate them early within 6- 12 months. When multiple fingers are involved, the marginal fingers should be released first, and then the other syndactyly should be released after 6 months.
2. Surgical steps: ① Finger separation; ② Joint reconstruction; ③ Skin reconstruction at the opposite edge of finger. Change the dressing in the skin graft area from 10 to 14 days after operation.
Different types of congenital syndactyly have different surgical methods: the indications are simple syndactyly separation+syndactyly without bone connection+thumb and forefinger deformity osteotomy to treat complex syndactyly, phalangeal dysplasia or interphalangeal joint dislocation, and high-tension syndactyly internal fixation after joint capsule or ligament reconstruction to maintain tension-free growth of surrounding tissues. (3) Non-surgical treatment
Not suitable for operation: congenital syndactyly with bony connection between proximal phalanx and middle phalanx, hypoplasia of surrounding soft tissue or other deformities are not suitable for operation.
