1. Preparation:
Before starting threading, make sure that the electric sewing machine is turned off, unplug the power plug, then prepare a thread (usually textile thread) suitable for sewing machine, and select the appropriate needle and spool. Put the spool into the spool bracket and ensure that the spool is firmly fixed. Usually, the spool has a locking device that can rotate and lock the spool.
2. Leadership line:
Thread the thread through the center hole of the spool and then pull it up. Find the top lead opening (usually a small hole) and lead the wire from the middle. Thread the thread through the tension piece or tension regulator, usually near the threading hole. The tension piece can control the tension of the thread, making it suitable for the operation of the sewing machine.
3. Lower guide wheel:
Thread the thread through the lower thread wheel, which is usually located on the metal plate near the needle, and the needle thread can circulate through the lower thread wheel. Thread the lead through the eye of the needle from front to back, and make sure to leave a short section at the end of the lead. Usually, the needle of the sewing machine can be lifted to the highest position by lifting the needle bar or pedal.
4. Puncture the cloth:
Put the cloth on the workbench of the sewing machine, and aim the position where the cloth penetrates at the place where sewing is needed. Press the pedal or operate the start button of the sewing machine to make the needle puncture the cloth and start sewing, and the thread will form the suture with the up-and-down movement of the needle.
5. End sewing:
After sewing, you can loosen the pedal or turn off the power switch of the sewing machine, lift the needle to the highest position, then cut the thread and pull out a short tail.
The above are the basic threading steps of the electric sewing machine, and the corresponding threading operation can be carried out according to the specific sewing machine model and operating instructions. It should be noted that there may be slight differences between different sewing machines, so it is best to refer to the operating instructions of your sewing machine to obtain an accurate threading method.
