How and when to cut down the Christmas tree
First of all, the cutting time of the Christmas tree

Christmas tree pruning should be done in spring or autumn. The temperature in these two seasons is suitable and can be maintained at 22-28 degrees. In this temperature environment, the rooting speed is fast and the survival rate is high. The specific time is between April and May and September-10. It is not good to be too early or too late.

Second, the safety tree cutting method

1. Preparation of substrate: The substrate used for cutting must be loose, breathable and water permeable. It is best to prepare it yourself, mix it with sand, garden soil and vermiculite, and if possible, add a proper amount of base fertilizer to improve fertility. Pay attention to disinfection after preparation and before use. 2. Cutting treatment: select robust cutting from the mother plant and cut it into a length of about 10- 15 cm. Remove the leaves under the branches and dip the bottom with rooting powder to promote faster rooting. 3. Burying: preparing soil and burying cuttings. When cutting, pay attention to control the depth. It can be buried about three or four centimeters deep. If it is too deep, it is difficult to breathe and take root. 4. Post-curing: water and moisturize as soon as possible after cutting to keep the soil slightly wet. After watering, cover it with a large plastic bag and move it to the shade for maintenance. Providing such an environment will soon take root.
