Historical Evolution School was founded in September 1945, and was then called Jidong Military Region Health School. It has been renamed the Fourth Branch of China Medical University, Rehe Medical College and Chengde Medical College. 1982 was named Chengde Medical College with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Moved into the new campus in 2006.
