3. Bianque Temple Scenic Spot in Neiqiu County, Xingtai

brief introduction

Bianque Temple is located 22 kilometers northwest of Neiqiu County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, covering an area of 3,700 square meters. It is an ancient building with a long history and a large scale, and now it is a key cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province. According to Neiqiu County Records, Bianque Temple existed in Han and Tang Dynasties, but its construction date is unknown. Since the Han dynasty, it has been repaired in all dynasties, and the existing building is Yuan Dynasty. Bian Que was a famous doctor in China during the Warring States Period. His biography was recorded in Historical Records by Sima Qian of Han Dynasty. Bian Que, formerly known as Qin Yueren, was born in Mianzhou, Bohai County (now Mianzhou Town, Renqiu City, Hebei Province). Bian Que was not only a famous doctor in Hebei in ancient times, but also a famous doctor in China at that time, which had a far-reaching influence on the development of Chinese medicine in the future. On August 20th, 2002, the State Post Bureau issued a set of four commemorative stamps of "Ancient Scientists in China", the first of which was a famous doctor Bian Que. At that time, Bian Que traveled all over Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Shaanxi and other places, and became a well-known and beloved doctor. When Zhao was practicing medicine, people praised him as an ancient famous doctor. Just like the same thing, calling him ""actually replaced his real name. Bian Que enjoys a lofty position in the history of Chinese medicine and has been admired by people for more than two thousand years. He built temples and monuments in his hometown and many parts of the country to commemorate him. Neiqiu Bianque Temple is a famous temple. Bianque Temple, also known as Queshan Temple and Quewang Temple, was named "Shen Ying" in the Song Dynasty. Located in Shentou Village, Neiqiu County, it faces south, surrounded by mountains, with Longteng Mountain on the right and Longteng Water in front. 1963 There was a bridge on the front water, and the back stone bridge collapsed. Cross the bridge to the north, cross the bridge tower, cross the mountain gate, and offer the temple to Bianque Temple. There is a statue of Bian Que in the temple, and on the left is Bian Que's tomb. Every year in the third month of the lunar calendar, people from all directions gather to worship, and the incense is extremely strong, lasting for more than a month. Bian Que's medical skill is superb. In the Biography of Historical Records of Bian Que, he recorded several medical records that have been handed down through the ages. There was a doctor in the state of Jin named Zhao Jianzi, who was seriously ill and had been in a coma for five days. After Bian Que cured Zhao Jianzi's illness, in order to thank Bian Que, Zhao Jianzi gave 40,000 mu of land in Pengshan, Neiqiu to Bian Que. Bian Que accepted this gift and has lived here ever since, collecting herbs in the mountains and visiting the countryside. Neiqiu became his second hometown. Bian Que is good at seeing a doctor. "Historical Records" vividly recorded his medical records of looking around for Hou (male) to prescribe a prescription for him, but Hou (male) didn't listen and finally died. Later, Bian Que went to Guo and cured Prince Guo of suspended animation. From then on, everyone said that Bian Que could "come back to life". Later, Bian Que went to the State of Qin to practice medicine, and the Qin imperial doctor ordered Li Yi to be jealous of him because he didn't know his medical skills, and sent someone to stab him to death. Prince Guo tried his best to retrieve Bian Que's head from the State of Qin, buried it in Pengshan, Neiqiu, and built a temple for sacrifice, so the mountain village was renamed "Shentou". Kowloon water flows from west to east in front of Bianque Temple. Named after the confluence of nine mountains and rivers in the upper reaches. There used to be a white marble bridge on the river, named Jiulong Bridge, in front of which stood a stone unicorn, which is now in existence. Kowloon Bridge, also known as the Bridge of Rebirth, is said to be sick or dying. As long as you cross this bridge, you can come back to life. There are nine cypress trees in front of Kowloon Bridge. They are old and lush, and have a history of thousands of years. They are thick, foldable and shaped like dragons. They are called nine juniper trees, and their roots are exposed on stones, just like African claws. "Neiqiu County Records" records the cypress as follows: "Cypress-born cypress, root cypress and cypress are integrated, and cypress is not old." According to legend, after Bian Que's death, his nine disciples were very sad and stayed by his grave for a long time. In fact, later generations admire Bian Que's medical skills and medical ethics and regard them as a memory. There are many places around Bianque Temple where Bian Que collects herbs, makes medicines and operates. Up to now, there are still medical stone, stone kang and Laochanggou. People in Jiulongbai praised Prince Guo's loyalty, so they called him and the mountain where herbs were collected "Prince Rock". Prince Rock is located 30 kilometers west of Neiqiu County, with steep peaks and hundreds of steep rocks, lush vegetation and beautiful pines and cypresses. Since the Zhou Dynasty, many temples have been built one after another, which is a scenic spot where natural landscape and human landscape blend. There is a prince cave on the mountainside of Taiziyan. There used to be a prince building with a hole in the back. According to legend, Guo Wang once lived here and collected herbs with Bian Que. Prince Tower was built in an unknown period and rebuilt in the late Daoguang period (A.D. 182 1- 1850). Today, this abandoned cave exists, and the cave is carved on the mountain wall to a depth of 2 feet. Looking eastward against the railing, you can see the pines and cypresses are green, the white clouds are out of the hole, and the red sun is lifted off. On May 25th, 2006, Bianque Temple, as an ancient building, was approved by the State Council to be included in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

7. Empty Mountain Baiyun Cave

brief introduction

Baiyun Cave in Gangshan, Xingtai City is located in Lincheng County, Xingtai City, 56 kilometers south of Xingtai City and 86 kilometers north of Shijiazhuang City. Along the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Beijing-Shenzhen Expressway and National Highway 107, it is very convenient to go to Baiyun Cave in Kongshan by bus. The Baiyun Cave in Ganshan was formed in the Middle Cambrian 500 million years ago. It is a rare karst cave landscape in northern China. At present, five caves have been preliminarily identified and developed, with a total length of 4,000m, the largest cave hall is about 2170m2, and there are more than 200 main scenic spots. Among the five caves that have been confirmed to be open, the caves are connected in series and the halls are nested. According to their different atmospheres, the five caves are named "human", "heaven", "hell", "Dragon Palace" and "ecstasy" in turn. The first cave hall is spacious and magnificent, with mountains and water, which is a peaceful scene on earth; The second cave hall "Paradise", with curtains, is magnificent, just like heaven; The third cave hall "hell" is full of strange stones, which is eerie and quite like an imaginary hell. The "Dragon Palace" in the fourth grotto is like a dragon palace with dense pools of beads. The cave has complete karst modeling, dense landscape per unit area, magnificent landscape pattern and well-preserved original background. ; The fifth cave hall is full of rugged rocks, winding and unique. The five caves have different landscapes with their own characteristics. The whole enclosed space is full of colorful carbonate shapes, such as stalactites, stalagmites, stone curtains, stone waterfalls, stone curtain flowers and so on. Among them, the "outer branch", "linear stone tube", "colorful stone curtain", stone curtain, crystal stone grape and stone pearl are extremely rare in other caves in China. There are as many simulated characters and scenes in the cave as 109. The landscape varies in size, including stone pillars, stone curtains, stone waterfalls and stone platforms. The largest stone pillar is 4.3 meters long and stands tall and spectacular. The largest stone curtain is 8 meters wide, and the smallest stone needle is only a few millimeters in diameter. There are also parrot stones and lions with strange shapes and vivid images The whole karst cave landscape gives people a variety of artistic enjoyment, such as the beauty of form, line and space, which can be called the "museum" and "underground maze" of karst modeling. The Baiyun Cave in Kongshan Mountain was discovered by local farmers when they were quarrying in July 1988. The origin of "empty mountain" is said to be that when the mountain wind strikes, the whole mountain will give off bursts of roar, so the locals call this mountain "empty mountain" and this cave is praised by experts as "underground lava museum". Lincheng County People's Government attached great importance to this, immediately set up a leading group for the protection and development of Ganshan Baiyun Cave, and took measures to block the cave. After investigation and demonstration by experts and scholars from China Geo University, Ministry of Geology and Minerals 1 1 Brigade, Institute of Geography of Hebei Academy of Sciences and other related units, the tourism development plan of Ganshan Baiyun Cave was formulated. Lincheng county invested in the development and construction of the cave and its surrounding tourist facilities from 65438 to 0989. On July 1990 and 1, the Baiyun Cave in Kongshan was officially opened to the public, and was listed as a provincial-level scenic spot by the people's government of Hebei Province in the same year. In May 2002, it was awarded the fourth batch of national key scenic spots. Known as the first cave in the north, the "Empty Mountain Baiyun Cave" is now a national 4A-level scenic spot. Great changes have taken place in the development of Baiyun Cave in Lushan Mountain for more than ten years. Lincheng county government relies on Baiyun Cave in Lushan Mountain, taking Baiyun Cave as the leader, integrating caves, mountains, water, primitive secondary forests and human landscape. Fiona Fang's 250-square-kilometer tourist belt has begun to take shape. The original secondary forests such as Kongshan Baiyun Cave, Tiantai Mountain, Qishan Lake and Xiezigou were approved as "National Geopark" by the Ministry of Land and Resources in 2005. Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area covers a total area of more than 20 square kilometers, exploring step by step and seeing wonders; Qishan Lake Scenic Area is mainly for leisure and vacation, water recreation, catering and accommodation, conference services and other projects; "Summer Resort" Xiaotianchi original secondary forest; There are also national key cultural relics protection units, such as Puli Temple Tower in Song Dynasty, Yao Xing Site in Tang Dynasty and Fengbo Pavilion. After the development of roads around the lake in geological museum, Xingcifang and Qishan and the construction of special roads for tourism are completed, the cultural pattern of large-scale tourism will basically take shape within 5 kilometers, which will create a refreshing "wonderful tourism".

8. Kaiyuan Temple in Xingtai

brief introduction

In the northeast corner of the old city of Xingtai, there is a well-preserved famous temple in the Tang Dynasty-Kaiyuan Temple. The temple was named after it was built in the Kaiyuan period, with a history of 1200 years. 1982 was listed as a provincial key cultural relics protection unit by Hebei provincial government. On May 25th, 2006, Xingtai Kaiyuan Temple, as an ancient building in Ming Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be included in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Kaiyuan Temple covers an area of 45 mu, facing south, with four main halls and pavilions. The temple has been repaired many times in the past dynasties, and the existing halls and pavilions are mainly in the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty. Although these buildings have gone through hundreds of years of vicissitudes, they are still basically well preserved, and many relics have high historical and artistic value. The four existing ancient temples are magnificent. One of them is the Maitreya Buddha Hall. Except for the well-known Buddha statues, the four walls are all poems written by famous people in past dynasties. According to legend, Zhong Liquan, one of the Eight Immortals, left a cursive poem on the wall when he visited the abbot of the temple and the Taoist elder Wan 'an. His poem said: "It is not easy to become a monk. When will he come back? He claimed that his residence was Lianhai, especially the first peak in Penglai. Don't be tired of chasing laughter, thinking how frustrating it is to stay away from chaos. I have only had a handful of leisure from the beginning and I have met several people. " "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" is a myth and legend in ancient China. Whether Zhong Liquan, one of the "Eight Immortals", has been to Xingtai is impossible to verify. However, the above poems on the wall of Kaiyuan Temple were indeed carved on a stone tablet in the Song Dynasty, which made Kaiyuan Temple famous. In his poems, sadness and chaos must have been written by later generations in the name of Zhong Liquan. The three halls of Sakyamuni are the architectural essence of Kaiyuan Temple. This hall is a hard mountain building with exquisite structure and unique style. In the 13th year of Zhengde in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 15 18), four stone pillars carved with dragons were added in front of the temple, which are almost unparalleled except the stone pillars carved with dragons in the Confucius Temple in Qufu, Shandong. These four stone pillars are 4.5 meters high and 2.5 meters in circumference. They are beautifully carved and have smooth lines. On the column, Youlong spirals up, winds down, or stands up. The dragon head and body protrude 20-35 cm from the column, with a strong sense of strength, just like a real dragon dance, which is a treasure of China culture and art. The carved stone slabs on both sides of the dragon column are exquisitely crafted and beautifully handled, which is equally amazing. In addition, there is a giant iron clock in front of the third hall. The clock is 2.70 meters high, 7.2 meters long at the lower edge, half a foot thick and weighs more than 30,000 kilograms. The clock was cast in the 24th year of Jin Dynasty (A.D. 1 184). There are twelve patterns on the clock wall, such as the sun, the moon, people, animals, cows and fish, corresponding to the Chinese zodiac. In addition, there are eight diagrams such as trunk branch, Kun branch, true branch, smoked branch, Kan branch, Li branch, root branch and antithesis branch, which contain the theory that trunk branch and Kun branch are round. There are also hundreds of words cast on the clock wall, which are clearly identifiable, recording the casting, producer, sponsor's name or identity, native place and so on. This clock has been cast for more than 800 years. Although it has been eroded by wind and rain, the casting technology is superb, the iron temperature is pure, there is no trace of oxidation, and it shines around the red bell body, which shows the superb cast iron technology in ancient China. At that time, the clock was hung on the bell tower on the east side in front of the three main halls of Kaiyuan Temple to tell the time. Whenever it is hit by a huge piece of wood, the clock will make a rough and heavy sound, which can be heard for miles away. Believers and monks heard the bell, folded their hands and worshipped in different places, which became a major landscape in Xingtai, commonly known as the "bell of wild temples". Kaiyuan Temple was a famous temple in previous dynasties, and its abbots were mostly monks. During the Five Dynasties, the Indian monk Kongben translated Buddhist scriptures in Hou Liang (9 1 1-9 15), which lasted for five years and made outstanding contributions to cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. The Yuan Dynasty was the most prosperous period of the temple, and Kublai Khan of Yuan Shizu was lucky enough to visit Kaiyuan Temple twice. Although Kaiyuan Temple gradually declined after the Ming Dynasty, thousands of famous monks still gathered here whenever the abbot gave lectures. According to "Xingtai County Records", "Whenever the morning sun rises, the smoke from the kitchen fills the air at dusk, monks offer scriptures, and bells travel for miles." Therefore, Kaiyuan Temple was the Buddhist center in northern China at that time. Kaiyuan Temple, commonly known as Dongda Temple, is located in the northeast corner of the old city of Xingtai City and on the west side of the north section of East Latitude Road. The temple was built in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty and has a history of 1200 years. Kaiyuan Temple used to cover an area of 45 mu, which was magnificent. There is a big screen wall in front of the original temple, on which there are rolling dragon flowers and colored sulfur glass bricks. The male ship with flying dragon posture is beautiful in shape, with a few inches of screen wall, lifelike and quite eager to fly. Exquisite and vivid sculptures and superb workmanship are rare in the north. Passing through the majestic mountain gate is the first hall, Maitreya Buddha Hall. In addition to the unique idols, this temple is also surrounded by vigorous celebrity poems. According to legend, it was written by the famous monk Zhong Liquan when he visited the temple. His poem said: "It is not easy to become a monk. When I return, I wish to follow, saying that it is the first peak in Penglai. " Another poem said, "How many people can see the tireless pursuit of laughter, thinking that it is so frustrating to leave the chaos, and counting from the beginning with only one finger at a time?" It is impossible to verify whether Zhong Liquan was a real person, but it is a fact that people's voices were expressed through poems. The second hall is the Pilu Hall, followed by the third hall, namely the Sakyamuni Hall. The hall is a hard-mountain building, magnificent and exquisite in structure. There are four pillars in front of the hall. The four stone pillars on the east and west sides of the gate are 4.5 meters high and 2.5 meters in circumference. The pillars are all carved in the Youlong, and several Youlong pillars are curled up. The faucet protrudes from the stone pillar by 20 to 35 cm. It looks like a real dragon swimming and dancing, and its majestic and ingenious carving art is almost unparalleled in China except for the stone pillars of the Confucius Temple. Fortunately, such a superb rare treasure was covered with mud by workers' comrades during the "ten-year turmoil" and has been preserved to this day, otherwise it would have been destroyed. Stone flowers are carved on both sides of the dragon column at the main entrance of the three halls, and the craft is exquisite and exquisite, which is amazing. The fourth hall is the Hall of the Great Hero (also known as the Three Buddhist Halls), which is the largest and has a unique style. Due to disrepair, many places have collapsed. With the attention of Sheng Municipal Government, it has been completely renovated. Kaiyuan Temple is a famous temple in past dynasties. When it was first built in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, it was very famous and was the most prosperous incense in northern China. Kongben, a Buddhist monk of the Five Dynasties, translated Buddhist scriptures in Hou Liang during his dry years (9 1 1-9 15), which made outstanding contributions to cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. Kublai Khan in Yuan Shizu is building Marshal House and appeasement department. Kublai Khan was lucky enough to open the Yuan Temple, so the temple was built in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Yuan Dynasty. During the reign of Zheng De in Ming Dynasty, it was restored again. According to historical records, since the Tang, Song, Yuan and early Ming Dynasties, there have been thousands of monks in the temple, with several hectares of fertile land and countless monks and Buddhists. As the historical data said: "Whenever the rising sun rises, the smoke fills the air, monks swish to learn from the scriptures, and bells are heard ten miles away." It can be called the Buddhist center in northern China. There is a giant iron clock in Kaiyuan Temple, which is 2.70 meters high, 7.2 meters long at the lower edge, half a foot thick and weighs more than 30,000 kilograms. It is a rare giant "gold". The clock was cast in 1 184. There are twelve patterns on the clock wall, such as the sun, the moon, people, animals, cows and fish, corresponding to the Chinese zodiac. There are also eight trigrams such as Ganzhi, Kunzhi, Zhenzhi, Xunzhi, Kanzhi, Lizhi, Genzhi and Duizhi. It contains the theory that Gan Kun is a circle. There are also hundreds of words cast on the clock wall, which are clearly identifiable, recording the casting, producer, sponsor's name or identity, native place and so on. This clock has been cast for more than 800 years. Although it has been eroded by wind and rain, due to its exquisite casting process and the temperature of pure iron, it not only shows no traces of oxidation, but also shows that the brown-red bell body is still bright and dirty. It was smashed in the "Ten Years' Unrest", but only a buzz was heard, but the clock was not damaged, which shows the superb cast iron in ancient China. The clock was originally on the iron bell rack in the bell tower on the east side in front of the three main halls of Kaiyuan Temple. It is used when reporting in class. Whenever it is hit by a huge wood, the clock makes a rough and heavy sound, and the sound vibrates far and near. Believers and monks put their hands together and worship in different places, so it became a major landscape in Xingtai, called "Wild Temple Clock". Now the clock in Da Huoquan Park is still intact. In the west of the temple, there is a classic building in the Tang Dynasty that respects Saint Toronyi. This is a rare relief treasure. There used to be an original pagoda behind the temple with a novel shape, named "Round Photo Pagoda", which no longer exists. Although the temple has been destroyed, its magnificent appearance still exists, especially its famous reputation has been engraved in people's hearts. 1982 was listed as a provincial key protection unit by Xingtai Municipal People's Government in the late 1990s and rebuilt.

9. Dahuoquan Park

brief introduction

A very beautiful park in the north of Xingtai City is open to tourists free of charge. There are artificial lakes with rippling blue waves, Guo Shoujing Memorial Hall, bronze statue of Guo Shoujing, a famous scientist in Yuan Dynasty, and many amusement facilities, which are worth visiting. Dahuoquan is located in the northwest corner of Xingtai City. It turned out to be a pool, a hundred steps a week, and the spring water was crystal clear. At first glance, when the water is low and the water is high, the main spring is like boiling water, and bloom flowers fall, and countless water springs are like jade beads, endless. Guo Shoujing, a famous astronomer, hydraulic engineer and mathematician in Yuan Dynasty, once drew springs and built canals here to connect ships and irrigate the countryside. During the Xianping period (AD 998- 1003) of the Northern Song Dynasty (Zhenzong Zhao Heng), Liu Kaijun, the secretariat of xing zhou, built a pavilion and planted willows here. After processing and decoration, the Great Living Spring became a county victory. In the fifth year of Song Xining (A.D. 1072), spring suddenly came. After six years, spring came back, so it was also called "spring again". In the eighth year of the Republic of China, Wang Huaiqing built a park in the south of the spring. At present, all kinds of flowers and huge spherical green trees are planted in the belt-shaped green space between Dahuoquan Park and Yonglu Road, and green willows are on both sides of the road. Northwest of the park is the former site of the Great Living Spring, which has been developed into two artificial lakes with larger area. The two lakes are connected by a river and a stream. On the lake, pedal boats swim around. The small island in the water adds new interest to tourists. After boating, board the island and watch the rippling water features. In this crystal clear lake, you can see the swimming red fish, which adds infinite vitality to the spring area. On the bank of the spring, there is a sharp octagonal pavilion, which provides comfortable facilities for tourists to enjoy the cool and relax. On the west side of the park is a garden, where wintersweet, bamboo, bananas and roses are in full bloom.
