How to make pumpkin steamed buns:
1. Peel and cut the pumpkin into pieces, sprinkle some water and microwave on high heat for 10 minutes until the pumpkin is soft and rotten.
2. Use a spoon to crush the pumpkin into a puree and pour it into the flour. Dissolve the yeast in water and add it to the flour.
3. Add all materials and mix evenly.
4. Knead it into a smooth dough (surface, basin, hand).
5. Cover with plastic wrap or a damp cloth and ferment at room temperature until 2-2.5 times in size.
6. Deflate the fermented dough and knead it thoroughly, and cut it into 10 equal parts (if there are bubbles in the cut, it means it has not been kneaded well, as long as the cut is smooth).
7. Shape the dough into a round shape and place a damp cloth on the steamer or brush it with oil to prevent sticking.
8. Pour an appropriate amount of cold water into the steamer, put the steamed buns into the pot and cover the pot to rest for 20 minutes.
9. After the relaxation is completed, turn on the high heat, turn to medium high heat and steam for about 17 minutes. Turn off the heat and simmer without uncovering the lid for about 3 minutes (the whole steaming process is about 20 minutes).
