Snuff bottles are mostly flat, with slippery shoulders and a big bottom and a small neck. Everyone in Ordos has it, men, women and children, because salute is a must. Therefore, snuff bottles are very developed in pastoral areas, including agate, crystal, silver, jade, stone, magnetism and wood, and there are two techniques of painting flowers inside and carving flowers outside.
The top-grade snuff bottle cover is made of silver, inlaid with a large coral or turquoise bead, and equipped with a spoon the size of an ear spoon, which can be inserted into the fine hole in the neck of the snuff bottle, from which snuff is dug out, rubbed on the nails, sucked on the nostrils, and sneezed immediately. But when Mongols meet to exchange snuff bottles, they don't let each other smoke their own snuff. It is usually done at the same time as offering Hada. After meeting each other, they took out their own Hada and snuff bottle, put Hada's mouth (referring to the folded side) towards each other, put it on their wrists, and held the snuff bottle in their right hand. Give the opponent a hard wrist and pass the snuff bottle in his right hand.
The opponent's left hand catches the snuff bottle, puts it on his right hand, rotates it in his palm, and then hands it to the opponent's left hand. Hada put it on each other's wrists again, and asked everyone to change a snuff bottle, and Hada returned it. Some snuff bottles have been used for generations and are worth three or four horses.
