Then choose good saplings and dig holes. Dig a suitable tree pit according to the length and width of the root system. The depth is generally 50 cm. When digging a pit, the ripe soil on the surface and the loess below will fall on both sides of the pit.
Then backfill. Before planting trees, some ripe soil should be backfilled in the pit according to the length and width of the roots and the length of the top of the roots. Generally, 20 to 30 cm of ripe soil will be backfilled.
Then plant it. Remember the word "321"-three buries, two steps and one lift. When planting saplings, it is necessary to straighten the roots and spread the branches, which is the premise. When planting trees, fill the soil in three times. Fill a little for the first time, stop filling at a certain distance from the top of the pit, walk around the tree on the filled soil, step on it evenly, then gently lift the stem and shake it loose to ensure the roots breathe smoothly. After filling the soil for the second time, walk around the tree again. After the third filling, try to ensure that it is flush with the pit surface. The roots should be aligned with the trees in the north-south, east-west direction. Then, put a large disk around the pit surface to facilitate water conservation in the future.
Finally, cover the soil to moisturize. After planting the saplings, cover them with a thin layer of soil to keep moisture.
