Precautions after cutting double eyelids;
1. Don't remove the gauze by force: In general, the doctor will put a layer of gauze on his eyes after the operation, and he will remove the gauze after 24 hours. You can take it out slowly by yourself or ask someone for help, but remember not to forcibly take out the gauze, which may lead to bleeding. If you can't take it out, it's usually blood and gauze stuck together. It's best to ask a doctor for help.
2. Avoid the wound from getting damp after operation: Don't touch the water before the wound is removed to avoid infection. Apply a cotton swab to your eyes every day with erythromycin ointment. If there are secretions on your eyes, you can wash them with a cotton swab dipped in normal saline, and the action should be light.
3. Cold compress within 24 hours after operation, and hot compress after 24 hours: Cold compress with towel wrapped with ice cubes after operation can reduce swelling and prevent bleeding. Hot compress should be applied 24 hours after operation to reduce swelling.
4. Diet: During the recovery of eyes, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, eat more foods rich in protein: meat, eggs, milk and beans, and do not eat spicy and irritating foods and foods that are easy to cause edema (hair) such as fish, leeks and spinach.
