Mango is a summer fruit.
Mangoes are generally on the market from May to July every year. Mangoes are one of the most famous tropical fruits. They are rich in protein, sugar and vitamins. They not only have high nutritional value, but are also very delicious. Mangoes are generally sown around April. After picking the mature fruits, take out the kernels next year and soak them before sowing. Mangoes do not have very high soil requirements, so just choose general sandy loam soil.
Habits of Mango
Mangoes like warm temperatures and good light, and sufficient sunlight is extremely important for the growth of mangoes. Mango likes heat and hates cold, so it can be planted in tropical or subtropical areas. Mango is a light-loving fruit tree. Sufficient light can promote flower bud differentiation, flowering and fruit setting, improve fruit quality and appearance. Usually, individual plants on the sunny side of the canopy or in an open environment have more flowers and a higher fruit setting rate; mangoes with too many branches and leaves, closed canopy, and insufficient light have less flowering and fruiting, and the fruit appearance and quality are poor. Through shaping and trimming, the lighting conditions in the garden and within the tree can be improved to increase yield and extend the peak period.
