Song-Huang Tingjian

Mount Gu Si receives light from the water,

Ten miles of fragrant lotus on the railing.

The breeze and the moon are nobody's business,

Let the south building cool.

Huang Tingjian (1045- 1 105), Lu Zhi, a Taoist priest in the valley, was a poet and calligrapher in the Northern Song Dynasty. There was an influential poetry school in Song Dynasty & Jiangxi Poetry School, and Huang Tingjian was honored as the founder.

Looking against the railing, the bright moon is near the middle of the sky, and the bright light pours down. Mountain lights on all sides are connected with water lights, which are bright; Fiona Fang Fiona Fang is in full bloom for more than ten miles, with lotus flowers and lotus flowers. In the cool night wind, there is a faint fragrance coming constantly. No one can control the breeze and bright moon, but generously and nobly send a cool night to the south building for tourists to enjoy! Appreciating this little poem, it is easy for us to forget our own situation, as if we were climbing the south building to enjoy the cool. Where does this feeling come from? First of all, from the external scene, the four outer mountains leap in front of us, with ten miles of lotus flowers, the breeze on the roof, the bright moon in the sky, the distance and the ground, with the south building as the center, forming a high, empty and three-dimensional artistic realm. From my own feelings: mountain light, water light and moonlight are felt by my eyes; The fragrance of flowers and lotus flowers is felt by the sense of smell of the nose; Breeze-cool nights are felt by the touch of skin and the hearing of ears; And the word "taste" of "the south building is cold" also implies that the taste of your tongue is at work, as if you were tasting it carefully and beautifully there. In a word, all the functions of our eyes, nose, ears, mouth, skin, vision, smell, hearing, taste and touch are mobilized and concentrated to participate in the feeling, appreciation and experience of the night scene of the South Building. This situation makes people feel as if they are in the air, isn't it natural? This is the artistic charm of the work and the artistic pursuit of the poet.

Huang Tingjian had a rough life. Because he was framed and slandered by others, he was exiled to Shu for six years. Only a few months after the recall, he was taken to Wuchang for seclusion. Tonight, enjoy the cool South Tower, watch the bright moon and cool breeze, be free and do your own thing. I feel that every time I want to do something, I am always offended and disappointed, so I hide. "No one cares about the cool breeze and bright moon" is the natural expression of the poet's mood.
