Method 1: Sohu portal pops up, because the automatic pop-up is not cancelled. By default, the first time you use the sogou input method, the system will start the Sohu portal. Just check the box in front of "Don't automatically pop up" in the upper right corner of the page.

Method 2:

1. If Sohu Portal still pops up automatically after using the above methods, you should use the following methods: Run the "msconfig" program in the start menu.

2. After opening the msconfig.exe file, the system configuration dialog box will appear, and click the startup option.

3. In the open startup project, carefully check whether there are files such as Sohu News and Sohu Portal. If the previous inspection is cancelled, Sohu portal will be closed automatically.

Method 3: Delete or disable the sogou input method, and Sohu portal will not pop up automatically. Open the Start menu and click Force Uninstall the software on your computer.

Open the software list, find the sogou pinyin input method, and click uninstall. If there are still residual files after uninstallation, you can continue to delete them. So the entrance to sogou won't appear again.
