Method of making butterfly specimens
Soften the dead butterfly, put the butterfly in a box with wet sand and cover it. It can be softened in about 2~3 days. According to the size of the insect, choose an appropriate insect needle, insert it from the center of the butterfly's chest and back, with a length of 8 mm, and vertically insert it into the middle of the groove of the quasi-wing exhibition board. Then use a small insect needle or tweezers to pull or pinch the thicker wing veins of the left and right front wings and pull forward. Spread the wings and press the transparent fin pressing strip folded in advance, so that the rear edge of its front wing coincides with the crease on the fin pressing strip.
