The frog has a flat head and a slightly pointed snout; a wide mouth, composed of upper and lower jaws; large and protruding eyes, located on the left and right sides of the head. The trunk is short and wide. There is a small hole on the dorsal side between the legs at the rear end of the trunk, which is the cloacal hole. The forelimbs are short and composed of 5 parts: the upper arm, forearm, wrist, palm, and finger. The hind limbs are long and well developed, with webs between the toes. The eggs are laid in the water and hatch into tadpoles, which breathe through gills. The reproductive characteristics of frogs are dioecy, fertilization in water, and oviparity.
