Video format is an identification symbol given to video files by video playback software so that they can be played.
Video formats can be divided into two categories: local video suitable for local play and network streaming video suitable for network play. Although the latter may not be as good as the former in terms of playback stability and picture quality, it is widely used in the fields of Internet information services such as video on demand, network demonstration, distance education, and online video advertising because of its wide spread.
