Linli County, which belongs to Changde City, Hunan Province, is a national commodity grain base county, a national advanced science and technology county and a demonstration county of green food base in Hunan Province, and is known as the "nonmetallic capital".

Linli County is located in the northwest of Hunan, in the middle and lower reaches of Lishui River, bordering Tianjin in the east, Dingcheng and Taoyuan in the south, Shimen in the west and Lixian in the north.
