How to realize roundness and cylindricity of 0.00 1MM in centerless cylindrical grinding;
I am also a centerless grinder. The centerless cylindrical grinder you mentioned can completely reach the roundness and cylindricity of 0.00 1 mm. The product requirements here are three times stricter than yours (roundness and cylindricity are required to be 0.0003mm, and outer diameter tolerance is 0.00 1mm). The following is personal experience, let's discuss it together:

1. Height of workpiece installation center during machine adjustment: The height of workpiece installation center has great influence on the roundness of grinding workpiece. In order to improve the roundness of the ground workpiece, the center height of the workpiece is generally set as high as possible during debugging. However, if the center of the workpiece is lifted too high, the workpiece is easy to jump, resulting in bad shapes such as vibration lines or even angles, and if it is too low, it is easy to cause odd angles such as triangles or pentagons. Therefore, the height of the workpiece installation center should be controlled within a reasonable range.

The calculation formula of the height of the workpiece installation center is: 3.14× r÷÷ì [(grinding wheel diameter+workpiece diameter )× (guide wheel diameter+workpiece diameter) ÷ (grinding wheel diameter+guide wheel diameter+twice workpiece diameter)].

Note: R represents the included angle between the workpiece, the guide wheel and the grinding wheel. The roundness between 6 and 8 degrees is the best, and basically 7 degrees is the most suitable.

Basically, the larger the diameter of grinding wheel or workpiece or guide wheel, the higher the center height of workpiece installation.

2. Adjust the displacement of the diamond pen of the idler dresser, which is basically higher than the center. The calculation formula of diamond pen displacement of guide wheel dresser is: height of workpiece installation center × guide wheel radius ÷ (guide wheel radius+workpiece radius).

3. The inclination angle of the guide wheel frame is generally selected according to the quality requirements of the workpiece and the grinding type, and the thorough grinding is basically 2 to 4 degrees. Cutting and milling is less than or equal to 0.5 degrees. Coarse grinding and some low-quality workpieces can be selected to be larger when grinding, which can improve the feed speed of workpieces and increase benefits; Fine grinding requires higher quality than coarse grinding to ensure product quality. It can be seen that the rotation angle of the lower strip and the guide wheel dresser is well matched. )

4. The rotation angle of grinding wheel dresser is generally smaller than the inclination angle during grinding, and there is a big difference between them when the grinding allowance is large. When cutting into the mill, it is the same as the inclination angle or 0 degrees. When grinding, the grinding allowance and inclination angle of the workpiece should be matched according to the actual adjustment process to ensure that the workpiece has a good grinding contact surface with the grinding wheel and guide wheel in the grinding area. The formula for calculating the dressing angle of the guide wheel is: guide wheel inclination × guide wheel radius ÷ (guide wheel radius+workpiece radius).

5. Installation of the tray: the thickness of the tray should be less than about 25% of the diameter of the workpiece; When installing, first check the plane of the supporting plate and the alloy blade, and try not to bend the plane, and try not to weld in the polished area of the alloy blade; After installation, the supporting plate cannot rub with the grinding wheel and the guide wheel; In the debugging process, the cutting amount in the back section of the grinding zone should be reduced to improve the surface roughness and roundness of the product. The distance between the grinding wheel and the supporting plate is not very important, as long as the slag stains can be discharged normally during grinding (the diameter of the workpiece can be kept between 10%-20%).
