There are two ways of hot compress: dry hot compress and wet hot compress. Dry hot compress is to use a hot water bottle, pour in 1/2-2/3 hot water, exhaust the air obliquely, then tighten the plug, wrap it with cloth or towel, and put it in the place where hot compress is needed. The water temperature in the bag is 50-60℃, so check carefully whether there is water leakage. When doing hot compress, you can change the hot water in time as needed to keep a certain temperature. Wet hot compress is to wring a small towel in hot water, put it on the part that needs hot compress, and then cover it with a dry towel or cotton pad to keep warm. The temperature of hot compress is based on the principle that you can tolerate it if you don't feel hot. Wet hot compress usually lasts for 20-30 minutes. In the process of hot compress, you should always observe the local skin color to avoid burns. It should be noted that when doing hot compress, do not get water on the incision of double eyelids to prevent the possibility of infection.
