Jinhua Vocational and Technical College School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering was established in 2003. The college has four national excellent courses, four national excellent courses, six provincial excellent courses, the national "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" textbook 10 and eight provincial key textbooks.

There are seven majors: mechanical manufacturing and automation, mechatronics technology, mold design and manufacturing, and industrial design.

In the past five years, students majoring in mechanical and electrical engineering have won 6 first prizes, 7 second prizes and 4 third prizes in the national vocational college skill competition, and 22 first prizes 16, 2 second prizes1and 3 third prizes in the subject skill competition for college students in Zhejiang province.
