1, wide hardness range. It still has the elongation and resilience of rubber under high hardness. The hardness range of polyurethane elastomer is Shore A 10-D80.
2, high strength. Under the hardness of rubber, their breaking strength, tearing strength and bearing capacity are far higher than those of ordinary rubber. At high hardness, its impact strength and bending strength are much higher than those of plastics.
3. Wear resistance. Its wear resistance is outstanding, generally in the range of 0.01-0.10 (cm3)/1.61km, which is about 3-5 times that of rubber.
4. Oil resistance. Polyurethane elastomer is a strong polar polymer compound, which has little affinity with nonpolar mineral oil and is hardly corroded in fuel oil and mechanical oil.
5. Good oxygen and ozone resistance.
6, excellent vibration absorption performance, can be used for vibration reduction and buffering. Replace rubber and spring in mold manufacturing.
7. It has good low temperature performance.
8. Radiation resistance. Polyurethane has good high-energy radiation resistance, and it still has satisfactory service performance at the radiation dose of 10- 10 Ge.
9. Good machinability. (Turning, milling, grinding and drilling are all acceptable)
