Peking Union Medical College Hospital is a large-scale comprehensive hospital located in Dongcheng District, Beijing, which integrates medical treatment, scientific research and teaching. Affiliated to Peking Union Medical College (changed to Peking Union Medical College/Tsinghua University Medical Department in 2006), it is its clinical medical college, the Institute of Clinical Medicine of China Academy of Medical Sciences, and the national guidance center for diagnosis and treatment of difficult and severe diseases designated by the National Health and Wellness Committee.
2. China-Japan Friendship Hospital of the Ministry of Health
China-Japan Friendship Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "China-Japan Hospital") is located at No.2 Sakura Garden East Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing. It is a hospital directly under the National Health and Wellness Committee of People's Republic of China (PRC). Opened on June 23rd, 1984. The existing number of beds/kloc-0.7 million (including the north and west areas) integrates many functions such as medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, rehabilitation, prevention and health care, undertakes tasks such as central medical care and medical rehabilitation, national health emergency rescue team, and is also the telemedicine management and training center of the National Health and Family Planning Commission.
3. Beijing Hospital of the Ministry of Health
Beijing Hospital is a modern comprehensive hospital focusing on cadres' medical treatment and geriatric research, with all-round development of medicine, teaching, research and prevention. It is a third-class first-class hospital directly under the National Health and Family Planning Commission and an important cadre health care base in the central government.
The predecessor of Beijing Hospital was a German hospital founded in 1905. 1945, Beiping Municipal Health Bureau took over the former German Hospital and renamed it "Municipal Beiping Hospital". From 65438 to 0949, the Ministry of Health of the Central Military Commission led the medical staff of Yan 'an Central Hospital and Bethune International Peace Hospital to take over the municipal Beiping Hospital, which was renamed as "Beijing Hospital" with the change of place names in Beijing.
4. Capital Medical University
Capital Medical University, referred to as First Medical University for short, was founded by Beijing Municipal People's Government, National Health and Wellness Commission and Ministry of Education. As a key institution of higher learning in Beijing, it was selected as the leading institution in the national "20 1 1 Plan".

Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, affiliated to Capital Medical University, was founded in 1956, located at No.23 and No.61,Houjie, Art Museum, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is a three-level first-class Chinese medicine hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and health care.
