Tangyukou, Tangyu Township, the northern foot of the Weihe River in Meixian County. Fenghuang Spring has been one of the famous hot springs in Shaanxi Province since ancient times. It is a natural bathing place, with the ancient name Fengyang Hall and the common name Tangyu Spring. Also known as Tangguhe and Xitangyu, it is opposite to Tangyu in Dongliantian County.
Phoenix Spring has been a tourist attraction since Sui and Tang Dynasties. It is said: "Tan (now Meixian) has a palace." According to documents, Emperor Emperor Wen of Sui of the Sui Dynasty turned the palace built by Huang Zhong into a summer palace, and set up Quanfeng County to show off places of interest. The Tang Dynasty was renamed Quanfeng Tang. Li Zhi of Tang Gaozong visited Quanfeng Hall in the fifth year of Yonghui (654), and Li Longji of Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty had the honor to visit it three times. It is said that there is also the ruins of Xuanzong's palace on the top of Fenghuang Mountain in Quanfeng Tang Dynasty.
There are Nanshan in the south of Phoenix Spring, Fenghuang Mountain in the east, Longfeng Mountain in the west, and the three mountains embrace each other. The mountain is steep and there are forests in it. The spring water comes from the crevice rock in Taibai Mountain. Due to the influence of geocentric heat of extinct volcano, the water temperature is about 60℃, and it contains minerals or chemical elements of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, iodine and sulfur and a small amount of radioactive elements, which can promote the metabolism of human tissues and treat psoriasis and chronic diseases.
Phoenix Spring has many springs, which are as big as fists and as small as pearls. Among them, there are mainly three springs, with a distance of 5 meters to 15 meters.
After liberation, hot spring sanatorium and hospital were established here. 1974 build a new tangfengquan and two fengchi buildings in the north and south. In recent years, Taibai Resort has been completed, and catering, hotels, hot reservoirs, hot water towers, cold water towers and other supporting projects have been continued. After several renovations, it has now become a resort for people to bathe, spa, recuperate and visit.
