If you want to feed him beef (we do know that some cat owners feed their kittens with beef, and kittens are particularly strong), people should chew up the beef first, and then spit it out for the kittens. Because the digestive system of kittens lacks an enzyme, which can be provided by human saliva. Doing so is beneficial to the digestion and absorption of kittens.
Kittens have been able to control their food intake. If you leave cat food in the food bowl, they will eat it by themselves when they are hungry. However, it is recommended to feed it once every morning and once at night. If possible, it is best to put away the food after meals, especially the food that goes bad easily. In addition, attention should be paid to feeding: timing, quantification and fixed point.
-Timing: Feed at a fixed time every day to develop good eating habits. Cat owners should persevere. I can't remember when I fed the cat.
-Quantitative: Don't eat too much and don't eat too little. With the increase of the cat's age, the cat's food intake gradually increases within a certain period of time (usually three or four months) and remains stable after eight months.
-Fixed point: the cat's food basin and water basin should be placed in a fixed place in the room and cannot be moved around.
Don't scare the cat when it is eating, otherwise it may cause anorexia.
As for canned cats, we usually mix rice first and then give them food. Because canned cats are high-energy and high-protein foods, just like the big meals people eat during the Spring Festival, if they are fed directly every time, it may cause indigestion.
Taboo: Never give the kitten milk! Many cats lack enzymes to digest and absorb milk in their stomachs. Drinking milk can lead to indigestion and diarrhea! And the composition of milk is different from that of cat milk.
Always prepare clean water for the kitten to drink (tap water is not allowed! ) and pay attention to replace it every day.
Second, excretion
Kittens are used to using cat litter, so it is suggested to continue to use cat litter for them. Of course, they also learned to use crystal cat litter. We will send a small bag of their used cat litter to the new owner. The owner will spread the used cat litter on the surface of the new cat litter, and the kitten will take him to the bedpan to smell it on the first day when she comes home. I believe he can find a convenient place soon. If a kitten urinates anywhere, there are generally two reasons: 1, the bedpan is not cleaned in time, and the cat toilet is too dirty; 2, just arrived in the new environment, did not find where the toilet is. The solution is: 1, clean the cat toilet once every morning and evening; 2. Put the kitten's excrement in the cat toilet, and then take the kitten to smell it.
Third, sleep.
In our family, kittens have their own nests. They like to sleep together. In the new environment, I think he might want to sleep with someone. It's best to stop him from the beginning.
Cats are very sensitive to temperature. In winter, he will find the warmest place to sleep, and in summer, he will find the coolest place in the house. So the place where cats sleep is sometimes strange (for example, sleeping on TV or computer monitor in winter, sleeping on cabinets or under tables in summer), which sometimes brings inconvenience to people. Fourth, play
Kittens are very naughty and active. With the growth of age, cats over one year old generally don't like to play as much as kittens. They like to stand on the windowsill in the afternoon near dusk, looking out the window and thinking ... Kittens like to play with paper balls and fluffy mice. It is recommended not to play with them because they are prone to danger. Don't let the cat play with cable heads and ropes at home. If swallowed by a cat, it will cause intestinal obstruction, which may be life-threatening. Kittens like to play with things like wires of household appliances, dangerous goods like this and things that are not suitable for kittens. Never let him play with them. Stop him severely when he tries to play with these things! You can pat him on the head as punishment if necessary. Every time he plays with these things, stop him, keep a balance, and don't let him take chances.
If you don't want to get scratched while playing with the kitten, you must be careful: don't tease it with up-and-down activities, let alone with food. Cats naturally like to scratch and move quickly. This provocative action can easily make them scratch you, although he didn't mean to. Besides, if he doesn't want you to hug him, you'd better let him go, or he may stretch out his nails to catch you.
If you don't want your kitten to turn into a little crazy cat or be too naughty to control, don't always let it jump up and down. Cats are always playing crazy, and when they grow up, they will be particularly "skinned". If there are two kittens at home, they can play well by themselves. Or you can give the kitten some toys.
