Teach you the pruning and methods of cherry trees.
1, the seedlings of cherry blossoms need to be fixed.

The clustered cage trees and solitary cherry trees seen in the market are all cultivated with small cherry seedlings with fixed stems. When the cherry seedlings propagated by cutting grow to 2 meters high, they can be fixed according to the requirements of the tree body. For example, the tall trees commonly used for planting street trees need to be fixed at a height of 1.5m-2m above the ground, the overgrown ground cage cherry trees need to be fixed at a height of 30cm above the ground, and the low-branch arbor trees need to be fixed at a height of 50m- 100 cm above the ground, and all the trunks of the trees need to be cut off.

2. After the rod is fixed, it needs to be trimmed every year.

The cherry tree with a fixed pole is also an orphan tree. The more branches grow from the fork, the better the tree looks. Leave the bifurcation position 30 cm-50 cm, and cut off all the rest. Every branch above the canopy needs to be cut off. It can also promote the growth of many twigs on the cut branches.

3. When is the time for plastic surgery and pruning?

Every year from spring to summer, cherry trees grow very fast. After spring, beautiful flowers will grow on the branches. In summer, many leaves will grow on the branches, and the main stems will grow quickly this season. In autumn and winter, all the leaves of cherry trees turn yellow and fall, and cherry trees hardly grow in hibernation. This season, you can choose to do plastic pruning, which is also convenient for pruning branches without leaves.

The pruned branches should be disinfected.

The branches of cherry trees are stingy. When pruning, you need to cut them off sharply. Be careful not to hang the bark on the branches. After pruning, they need to be painted with ink to prevent infected bacteria from affecting their growth. There are no leaves on the branches at the beginning of flowering. In winter, check whether the branches without flowers are freeze-dried and cut off the dry branches.

5. Treatment method of bottom branches of single-stem cherry tree

After the pole is fixed, the cherry tree is an orphan tree, and spring is the season when the cherry tree grows fast. Most roots will sprout and become small cherry trees. It can be transplanted to one side for planting, or all the redundant branches can be cut off so as not to affect the overall tree shape.
