(1) Cutting propagation. It is difficult to take root by cutting in Milan, so it is necessary to use softwood cutting during the growing season. Generally, the top branches are used as cuttings in the north, which are about 10 cm long, or in June, 165438+ 10 month. Surround the shoots. In South China, from July to August, the semi-lignified branches were used as cuttings, which were about 65438±00cm long and had 2 ~ 3 compound leaves for cutting, and the cutting survival rate was the highest. In order to improve the rooting rate, the base of cuttings was soaked with 100 mg/kg indolebutyric acid, 200 mg/kg NAA or 50 mg/kg ABT rooting powder for 8 hours, and then cut. Peat soil and fine sand are used as cutting substrates, the row spacing of cutting plants is 6 ~ 8 cm, and the cutting depth is about 2/3 of the cutting length. Covered with plastic film and covered with sunshade net. The temperature is controlled at 26 ~ 27℃ and the air relative humidity is 85% ~ 90%. The rooting rate can reach about 60% after cutting for 50 ~ 60 days.
(2) Layered propagation. From spring to early summer, plants with strong growth and no pests and diseases are selected, and branches with a diameter of about 1 cm are selected on the sunny side for layered propagation. Annular peeling was carried out about 20 cm away from the bifurcation position, and the notch width was about 1 cm, exposing the cambium. 1 ~ 2 days later, wrap the incision with mud strips or moss, and then wrap it with plastic film. Always keep the mud strips moist and take root in about 2 ~ 3 months. When new roots sprout, cut them off from the mother plant, follow them in with mud sticks or moss, plant them in the shade, and put them on the pot after 1 month.
Attention should be paid to shaping seedlings, and most branches should not be clustered out of the ground to make the upper end of seedlings plump.
