The hospital was rated as a second-class first-class hospital by 1996 and 1999 as the "Top Ten Hospitals" in the whole province. In June 2005, it was awarded the second batch of "National People's Relieved Demonstration Hospitals" by China Hospital Management Institute, and in July 2006, it was awarded the "Excellent Demonstration Hospital of Medical Ethics in the whole province" by the Provincial Health Department and the Provincial Office for Corrections. From 2005 to 2009, it was awarded the title of "Advanced Support Unit" for supporting rural health projects in the province for five consecutive years, and was awarded the title of "Class III B Hospital" by the Provincial Health Department in June 2008. In addition, it is the network hospital of the International Emergency Rescue Center of the Ministry of Health and the Red Cross Hospital of Jiayuguan City. Jiayuguan Emergency Medical Rescue Center, Jiayuguan Sub-center of Gansu Emergency Medical Rescue Center, Gansu Zhongxingsi Forensic Medicine Appraisal Institute and Jiayuguan Infectious Disease Hospital are all located in this hospital.
