Types and characteristics of mines
There are more than 35 kinds of mines, which are classified into two types according to their uses: anti-infantry mines for anti-personnel and anti-tank mines for destroying vehicles.

There are three types of anti-infantry mines:

Explosive: Explosive mines are buried several centimeters underground, usually triggered by people stepping on a pressure plate. This kind of mines aims to destroy nearby objects, such as people's feet or legs.

jump type: when burying, a small part of fuse usually sticks out of the ground and is triggered by pressure or lead. This kind of mine is also called Bouncing Betty. Once the firing charge is ignited by the trigger fuse, the mine will be lifted about 1 meter from the ground and then the main charge will be ignited, causing damage to the head and chest of people.

Fragment type: This kind of mine releases fragments in all directions, or it can only release fragments in one direction (directional fragment mine). This kind of mine can harm people as far as 6 meters away and kill enemies at close range. The fragments used in mines are metal or glass. Debris mines can be mine jumping or ground explosion.
