How to prune the branches of plum blossoms
Trim the whole branch.

Prunes belong to Rosaceae and European plum species. Rich in a variety of fruity vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and dietary fibres, free of fat and cholesterol. Because prunes did it. Trunk pruning mostly adopts delayed opening shape. The first layer of delayed opening shape selects three main branches, and the second layer selects two main branches with a spacing of about 70cm, and then plays backwards. Late fruiting branches tend to weaken. Results the mother branch should be retracted in time to avoid weakness and promote the result.

In winter, pruning should be light and long. Try to cut short as little as possible, thin branches as much as possible, and thin branches are too dense, sick and drooping. Pruning pruning is divided into two stages: winter pruning and summer pruning, with winter pruning as the main stage. Winter felling is generally in early February, and summer felling is carried out in May-July. Winter pruning mainly adopts opening the inner chamber, adjusting the reasonable branch spacing, draining back branches, dead branches, pests and diseases branches, over-dense branches, cutting off strong branches, retracting weak perennial bearing branches, throwing off medium branches, competing branches at the top to remove strong ones and leaving weak ones, and lengthening branches to be moderately short.

Summer pruning mainly adopts the methods of stretching the main branch angle, coring, twisting the tip, taking branches, thinning the long branches, removing sprouting and so on. Plum blossoms have strong germination ability, strong branches, weak dryness and dense branches. Pay attention to open the inner chamber, open the angle for ventilation and light transmission, retract or remove weak fruit branches, and renew and rejuvenate in time.
