Notice from the Xinyang City Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters Office
Recently, the epidemic situation across the country has been spreading from multiple points and spreading through multiple chains. Local clusters of epidemics have occurred frequently, and the epidemic situation is severe and complex. In order to effectively build a tight line of defense against "foreign import", scientifically and accurately carry out epidemic prevention and control work, and eliminate hidden epidemic risks, the epidemic prevention and control measures are hereby announced as follows:
1. Citizens of our city should not refrain from traveling unless necessary. Do not go out, do not go out of provinces, do not cross cities, and do not go to cities and counties overseas and domestically with medium and high risk areas or areas where confirmed cases are reported. If you really need to leave the city, you must report to your unit or village in advance.
2. Persons writing letters from outside the province must report to the destination village or unit 3 days in advance and hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours. Persons from medium- and high-risk areas will be assigned a yellow code upon landing based on the city or county where they depart, and "two inspections in three days" and seven-day home health monitoring will be strictly implemented.
3. Promote the application of place codes throughout the city. All administrations, enterprises and institutions, communities and public places should actively apply for them and strictly scan the code registration system.
4. All types of public places must strictly implement prevention and control measures such as temperature measurement, code scanning, wearing masks, ventilation and disinfection to avoid crowd gatherings. Hotels, guesthouses, B&Bs and other places must check health codes and itinerary cards, and personnel who respond to letters from other cities must be guided to carry out nucleic acid tests.
5. Social education and training institutions, Internet cafes, KTVs, and chess and card rooms are temporarily closed or open for business. The local and industry authorities shall supervise and implement the measures.
6. All non-economic and trade gathering activities are suspended. If it is really necessary to hold, "one incident will be reported", "whoever organizes it will be responsible", and the procedures will be reported for approval. It is advocated not to have dinner parties or gatherings, and to "postpone weddings, keep funerals simple, and not hold banquets." If it is really necessary to reduce the scale of the banquet, it must be reported to the local community, and the number of banquets hosted should not exceed 5 tables.
7. Tomb-Sweeping Day is coming soon. We encourage memorial service at home and online memorial services. We do not return to our hometowns unless necessary to reduce the flow of people, avoid gatherings of people, and reduce the risk of the spread of the new coronavirus.
8. Vaccination against COVID-19 is the safest and most effective way to prevent COVID-19, and it is also the obligation and responsibility of every citizen. Residents who meet the vaccination requirements and have not been vaccinated should be vaccinated as soon as possible. Those who have completed the full course of vaccination for 6 months must receive booster vaccination in time to build a solid immunity barrier for the entire population.
This notice will be implemented from 0:00 on March 19, 2022, and the adjustment time will be notified separately.
