Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is organized by Chongqing Municipal People's Government and headed by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. Based on the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Chongqing Medical University, we will fully integrate Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chongqing Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chongqing Institute of Drug Planting and other high-quality resources of traditional Chinese medicine teaching and research in the city. The school is located in the ecological zone of integration of production and education in Chongqing (west of the university), at No.61Puguobao Road, Bicheng Street, Bishan District, Chongqing, with convenient transportation and beautiful environment.

The first batch plans to set up six undergraduate majors, including traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, orthopedics and traumatology of traditional Chinese medicine, clinical medicine of traditional Chinese and western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. It is planned to enroll 1.200 students in 2022, and the number of full-time students (including graduate students) will reach 6,000 in 2025 and 1.000 in 2030.

At present, there are 340 full-time teachers and 70 part-time teachers, among whom 80.3% are college graduates and 43.2% are associate senior or above. Among them, master of traditional Chinese medicine 1 person, 3 old Chinese medicine practitioners, national young Huang Qi scholar 1 person, special allowance expert of the State Council 15 people, and famous old Chinese medicine experts in China.
