As a sparring partner of the Zhang family's children when I was a teenager, I learned a lot of boxing and had a certain foundation in flying skills. 1902, he joined Li and became his big disciple.

After the Japanese invasion, Boyi was very dissatisfied with the Japanese bodyguards around him. Japanese bodyguards were compared with China people. In the competition, Huo Diange defeated the Japanese bodyguard with only three moves, and then Boyi became Huo Diange's martial arts teacher. But in the later period, Boyi was dissatisfied with Japanese control and wanted to revive Manchu. With the full support of Huo Diange, they set up the Guards, which also made his situation more and more dangerous. Later, the Japanese army attacked Huo Diange in order to destroy this army. Because of Boyi's cowardice and selfishness, Huo Diange finally resigned and lived in seclusion in Tianjin, and finally died with a grudge.

Many people have different views on Huo Diange's life after seclusion. Some people say that he is a traitor, which has caused many families to be ruined. However, some people hold different views, for example, he is a patriot. When Japan provoked him, he defended his national prestige with octupole boxing, and then actively spread octupole boxing and trained many famous disciples.
