What is a pair of ears?
The small pimple on the ear, medically called "accessory ear", is caused by abnormal local tissue development. Usually, redundant tissues of different sizes and shapes will appear in all directions of the auricle (mostly in the front), which may or may not have cartilage, and sometimes even hair.
Accessory ear resection
Many people think that their ears will affect their beauty, or parents will take surgery to remove their children for fear that they will be laughed at by others in the future. Ear removal is usually local anesthesia. If a child wants to do it, it's best to wait until he can cooperate, such as seven or eight years old. If you are too young, such as two or three years old, you may need general anesthesia. It is recommended to wait until the child's face and external ear develop normally before surgery, not too early. Surgery is risky after all.
Matters needing attention in children's surgery
Parents are not allowed to accompany them when they are anesthetized. Too young children are frightened and need general anesthesia. It is recommended that the child be older before doing this operation. Therefore, parents should be cautious, don't influence their children for temporary emotions, and make full preparations in advance before making a decision.
