Development history of cold stamping
Cold stamping technology has a long history in China. In the past half century, the cold stamping process in China, like other production processes, has developed rapidly. Some factories have established cold stamping workshops with modern scale and advanced technology, and established scientific research institutions and professional factories specializing in cold stamping technology. A large number of scientific and technical personnel engaged in cold stamping production have been trained, scientific and academic activities of cold stamping production have been widely carried out, and various cold stamping technical materials have been edited and published, which has made the cold stamping production technology develop rapidly. In cold stamping production, many gratifying high-tech achievements have appeared. Stamping technology and equipment are constantly developing, such as precision blanking, cold extrusion, multi-station automatic stamping, high-speed forming, hydroforming, superplastic stamping and so on. The cold stamping production technology has been raised to a new level. In order to adapt to the improvement of cold stamping technology, the research and development of stamping die in China is also constantly strengthened. In recent years, many new mold structures with short manufacturing cycle and long service life have appeared. In addition, mold processing technology and mold materials are also constantly innovating accordingly, such as casting molds with steel-bonded cemented carbide, cemented carbide or low-melting alloy, and designing and manufacturing molds with electro-machining technology and computer to adapt to different production conditions. In this way, the product quality and labor productivity of stamping production are greatly improved, and the cost is also greatly reduced, which is conducive to promoting China's economic construction and development.
