Precautions before operation:
1、
Communicate with the plastic surgeon fully, make clear the operation plan, and don't rush to the operation: for example, whether there is serious epicanthus, this kind of double eyelid has short eyes and large eye spacing, which affects the appearance, and at the same time, the effect of opening the corner of the eye will be better; There are also some patients with ptosis who can't be corrected by double eyelid surgery alone and need ptosis correction;
Not all patients are suitable for double eyelid surgery. If the eyelids are thin, the eyes are long and wide, and the ends of the eyes are slightly upturned, this type of eyes has a classical oriental charm. Don't try double eyelid surgery;
Patients with exophthalmos are not suitable for double eyelid surgery, and double eyelids will be fierce.
2、
Avoid menstrual period: capillary congestion during menstrual period, easy bleeding during operation, long postoperative swelling period and slow recovery; Menstrual period resistance drops, easy to infect, in principle, 3 days before and after menstrual period is not suitable for cosmetic surgery.
3、
Preoperative examination: Some patients will feel that preoperative examination is very troublesome, but regular clinics and hospitals will check it. Although you think you have no problem, you don't know the situation of the patient in front of you. Regular hospitals will treat operating rooms and surgical instruments used by patients with infectious diseases (such as hepatitis B) specially to avoid infecting healthy patients. Only by examining every patient can the spread of the disease be eliminated. Preoperative examination is also used to exclude patients who are not suitable for surgery and reduce the occurrence of surgical accidents, such as patients with severe hypertension and coagulation dysfunction.
Precautions after operation:
1, postoperative pressure dressing: gauze strips will be put on the upper eyelid after operation, and the doctor will ask you to press for half an hour before leaving, in order to prevent bleeding. Come to the hospital the next day after surgery and remove the gauze from your eyes. Don't remove it yourself, because the blood and gauze in the incision often stick together, and forced tearing will tear the eye wound.
2. After the operation, don't wet the incision with water before taking out stitches. Apply erythromycin eye ointment to the incision with a sterile cotton swab once a day. Wear sunglasses when going out to avoid sunlight to stimulate the wound and prevent scar hyperplasia. Patients with large canthus should use antibiotic eye drops several times a day at the corner of their eyes. When there is secretion in the corner of the eye, gently wipe the secretion from the corner of the eye with a sterile cotton swab.
3, suture removal time: generally 5 days after double eyelid surgery, 7 days after surgery for patients with big eyes.
4, dietary taboos: do not eat spicy and irritating food after surgery.
