It is said that when Shen Baozhen was seriously ill, there were endless visitors, and Shen Baozhen only held the hand of Tu Zongying, the mayor of Jiangning, and concluded that Shen Baozhen felt that Tu Zongying was slightly haunted, so he said the last sentence, "Stay with Tu Zongying and don't leave for a moment."

His tongue stuck out like a dog sticking out its tongue, and his whole body was covered with paw prints one inch deep, which really seemed to be strangled by a ghost. Although this statement is unscientific, as the saying goes, there are no ghosts below the ninth floor, but there are gods above the third floor. Shen Baozhen tomb

After Shen Baozhen's death, people built his tomb in Meiting Village in the western suburbs of Fuzhou, Fujian. Shen Baozhen's tomb is at the southern foot of Huofeng Mountain in Meiting Village, facing south, and its shape is acceptable.

Shen Baozhen's tomb is concrete and has four floors. The whole Shen Baozhen Tomb is 10.9 meters wide and 20.5 meters deep. The sealed mound rises high and looks like an inverted kettle. There is a granite tombstone in front of the mound of Shen Baozhen's tomb. The tombstone is about 85 meters high and 60 meters wide. Shen Baozhen's tombstone is155cm thick. It looks very tall and magnificent enough to show people's grief.

The tombstone is engraved with an inscription in regular script, describing the owner of Shen Baozhen's tomb and calling Shen Baozhen a senior minister. On both sides of Shen Baozhen's tombstone, there are a pair of lions cast with cement. The male lion is playing with the ball, and the female lion is carrying the young lion on the other side. 1988, Fuzhou Cultural Relics Protection Committee decided to repair Shen Baozhen's tomb, and Shen Baozhen's tomb was improved and continued to be presented to the world. 1992, Shen Baozhen's tomb was listed as the object of cultural relics protection in Fuzhou, and many people came to mourn this famous minister in the late Qing Dynasty every year.
