What are the breeding methods and precautions of butterfly plum?
Breeding butterfly plum requires good conditions: pot soil conditions, light and temperature management, water and fertilizer management. Pruning should be paid attention to at different stages of plum growth.

1, basin soil conditions

Butterfly plum is suitable for growing in loose and fertile soil. When mixing soil, humus soil, peat soil, sawdust soil and mountain soil can be mixed according to the ratio of 2:2:2:2 to make a cultivation substrate, which can be used after exposure and disinfection. Before serving the pot, a layer of broken tiles should be laid at the bottom of the pot to improve the drainage of the pot soil.

2. Light and temperature management

The demand for temperature is high during the growth of plum blossom. During routine maintenance, the room temperature should be kept at 10 ~ 20℃. When the sun is too strong in summer, shading measures should be taken to avoid strong light. Soft light in winter can keep the indoor environment bright, and the room temperature should be controlled above 10℃ to avoid frostbite.

3. Water and fertilizer management

In the process of plum blossom growth, it is necessary to strictly control the amount of watering. Generally, it can be watered once every 2 ~ 3 days, and it needs to be watered thoroughly every time, but it is not suitable to produce water. In addition, dilute liquid fertilizer should be applied once every half month in the growth period of plum leaves, and phosphate fertilizer should be applied once every two weeks in the flower bud differentiation period.

Matters needing attention in breeding butterfly liying

When plum blossom seedlings grow to 10 cm, they need pruning to promote the germination of new branches. After the plum blossom enters the growth period, the branches and leaves that grow too densely inside need to be pruned in time. After flowering, it is necessary to prune the residual flowers and dead leaves in time to reduce unnecessary nutrient consumption.
