How to improve the grafting survival rate of loquat trees by grafting methods and techniques
Before 1 and 1-2 days of grafting, the rootstock should be cut off with 15-20 cm, and 3-5 compound leaves should be kept, or water should be kept for branching, which can reduce the moisture of rootstock, improve the nutrient concentration and healing hormone concentration of rootstock, reduce the moisture in the bound membrane and improve the survival rate. If the rootstock is left too short, it is not convenient for grafting, which will affect the grafting speed and survival rate.

2. The scion is selected in sunny days, and the flat side is taken as the long section. First, cut a knife at the back of the scion at a 45-degree angle, and then turn it over and cut it flat, with the length of 1.5-2 cm, taking cutting to xylem as the degree. Each scion has 1-2 buds, which are cut at the top 0.3 cm.

3. Select the smooth side of the rootstock, obliquely cut a small piece with a knife, and then cut it down between the phloem and xylem into a section similar in size to the long section of the scion, with some xylem slightly cut. Finally, aim the long section of the scion at the cambium of the rootstock section, mix red mud and dichlorvos, and coat them on the film to improve the survival rate.
